Refund policy

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

If you have any questions before or after purchasing, you’re always welcome to contact our small business at orders@indiebohopets.com. Please allow up to 24 hours for a reply, as our customer service team is a small (but dedicated!) team of two.

For any exchange, refund or store credit, original shipping costs are non-refundable, as these are paid directly to our freight partners and can’t be recovered. Return shipping costs are also the responsibility of the customer. Thank you for your understanding.

Car Booster Seats & Back Seat Covers
Please check the measurements of the booster seats carefully and our size recommendations for each. 

While the seat covers are a universal size and suit most cars, they might fit differently in your vehicle to the photos shown. We have therefore provided a diagram and detailed the measurements including the seat belt slots.

Indie Boho is not responsible for any injury resulting from the use of our booster seats or seat covers. Pets should always be supervised while using these products, and all straps and restraints must be checked and secured before every trip.

  • If an item has not been used, it may be returned provided you contact us within 14 days of delivery. Please ensure the item is returned in its original packaging to help prevent damage in transit. Once received, the seat or cover will be inspected for pet hair or signs of use. If deemed new and suitable for resale, we will process a refund for the item or assist with an exchange or store credit.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend comparing courier options to find the best price. Some customers choose to use Fast Courier or Australia Post but any carrier service can be used. Indie Boho is not affiliated with any third-party shipping providers. Please keep note of your tracking number for your own records.

Incorrect Bed Size
Please choose your products carefully and check our size guide before purchasing any beds. We do not accept returns based on change of mind.

We will however facilitate an exchange when the incorrect size has been purchased as long as the product has not been used, is in its original packaging, with tags attached and free from fur. The conditions for a change of bed / booster seat size are:

  • The vacuum-packed bed insert must be in its original condition and not opened.
  • The bed cover is also in its original condition. This includes your pet not lying on it as they may have dropped a small amount of fur, making it unsaleable to a new customer.
  • The tag must remain attached.
  • We cannot refund the shipping cost of the original parcel sent to you. Nor can we pay for the postage of the parcel you are sending back to us. Therefore, the shipping of the returned parcel will be at your own expense. This can be expensive so please check the bed size guide to avoid this cost or the size for the booster seats before purchasing. 
  • Please email us the tracking number if you are sending us a return, so that we know it's coming. We cannot refund/exchange items that we have not actually received. 

Once the returned item has been received, we will put the credit (the amount you paid for the product not including shipping) towards your next purchase.

Faulty
While our quality control is strict through the making and packing of our goods, on the rare occasion you may need to get in touch with us about a concern.

Please email us and attach several clear photos of the item and fault. To claim a refund/exchange on a faulty item, you will need to contact us within 14 days of receiving the item.

Indie Boho is not responsible if your dog has chewed or destroyed our products.

Additional Bed Covers
Additional covers should only to be used with Indie Boho bed inserts. Both our inserts and covers have been rigorously tested (pressure, weight, ease of removal for washing etc) when used together as a bed. We cannot take responsibility of damaged covers when they contain something other than our specially designed inserts. 

Cancelling Orders
An order can be cancelled before it is dispatched for a full refund. Please email us immediately at orders@indiebohopets.com if you need to make any changes to your order. If the parcel is already with the courier / post, we are unfortunately unable to intercept it. We therefore cannot refund the shipping cost and there may be a return shipping charge as well.
